Biden Slips Up, Tells Crowd 'Poor Kids Are Just As Bright And Just As Talented As White Kids'

On Thursday, and for the second time, former Vice President Joe Biden slipped up. He told an Iowa crowd that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

While discussing opportunities in education and arguing for advanced placement programs in public schools, Biden tripped over his words. He began his statement by saying, “And the other thing we should do is we should challenge these students.”

He further added, “We should challenge students in these schools, have advanced placement programs in these schools. We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.” After saying that, he immediately interjected after a pause, “Wealthy kids, white kids, Asian kids.”

The audience that Biden had addressed was composed of mostly Asian and Hispanic voters.

Daily Caller stated that it seemed like this was another instance of Democrats using class and race to cause division among the people.

According to Daily Caller, this wasn’t Biden’s first blunder.

He also made the statement, “We choose truth over facts” during the Iowa State Fair, to which the audience clapped enthusiastically.

According to Daily Caller, in addition to those instances, he had also made some racist comments in the past.

During an event in Delaware, he made some comments about Indians. He stated in a news report, “You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent! I’m not joking!”

It seems like Joe Biden has made a lot of slip-ups despite his stand against racism. Daily Caller accused the liberal media of not holding Joe Biden accountable for his statements.
