Muslim Girl Raped, Impregnated By Teacher

A Muslim tutor who raped a 14-year-old girl and impregnated her was sentenced to 19 years in prison.

Mohammed Islam first began molesting the girl in 2010 when she was just 9 years old, studying with him at an Islamic center in England. The girl, Evening Standard reported, "felt powerless" to stop the attacks and ultimately became pregnant. Prosecutor Robert Brown said the girl delayed having an abortion because she wanted time to prove Islam was the father.

Islam first said that the girl initiated sex between them, but admitted to rape after she said she'd testify against him.

"What Mohammed has done to my daughter has broken me," the girl's father said in a statement. "In our religion she is no longer considered a virgin and is therefore unable or unlikely to get married to have a family. I am devastated. I am so angry. I only hope and pray for her that this abuse will not have a long-term effect on her."

The story went viral, with many expressing their horror at what happened.

"Pedophilia is just that, no matter the person's background .. he and all who abuse children should be punished according to the law .. often it is someone in a position of authority in one firm or another .. one must always be alert to changes in their children's personality as that I'd often the clearest indication that something is wrong, maybe terribly wrong," one Mad World News reader commented on the site's Facebook page.

"Anyone who rapes a child deserves to spend life on prison not just 19 years so he can get out and do it again! By the way not all Muslims are evil. I worked with a Muslim who has 4 children and he gets so upset when he hears of any kind of child abuse. He said he cannot understand how anyone could abuse a child. There's good and bad of all kind, white, black, Asians, Indians, Iranians, Pakistani whatever," another added.

Some even put blame on the father for sending his daughter to the school in the first place.

"Lower than a snakes belly u did not protect your daughter. Are you one who believes that it's ok. Your religion to me is trying to justify all that we see as sin in the name of your religion to do horrendous things. Cutting people's heads off defiling little girls killing them if you marry them at 6or7 and they ask to see thier mom and dad. Coming to our country trying to force us to see your way is the right.way. Children have the right to be protected by her parents you are as bad as the one that defiled her. Poor baby," one reader commented.
